Advise. Organize. Fight.
Especially in these times, many people—often through no fault of their own—find themselves in difficult situations: The job center demands the completion of a mountain of forms when applying for citizen's benefit, landlords raise rents after modernizing apartments, and single parents often don’t know their rights or entitlements.
We want to support those affected with advice and practical help—through our own services or in cooperation with associations, self-help groups, or lawyers. Across the country, we offer around 120 free social and legal counseling services: consultations on social and/or citizen’s benefits, asylum advice, housing and family assistance. Get in touch with us!
Die Linke fights for fundamental political change while also being a party that cares—tangibly, in everyday life, and on the ground.
► Solidarity Exchange Market
You receive your money on a payment card (Bezahlkarte), can only withdraw €50 in cash, and need more cash each month?
Then let’s trade!
When: Every Monday between 5 PM and 7 PM, starting April 28, 2025
Where: Die Linke, Ebendorfer Straße 3, Magdeburg
► Let’s Trade!
While the payment card (Bezahlkarte) strips people of their rights, limits their freedom of movement, and makes social participation more difficult, we rely on mutual support.
Want to help? Then stop by and exchange cash for vouchers. It’s a direct way to make a difference.
► Got a Payment Card (Bezahlkarte)? Here’s How You Can Trade:
1. Go to a store and buy a €50 gift card from Edeka, Rewe, Lidl, or dm. These gift cards are always available at the checkout.
2. Bring the gift card to our exchange market. There, you can swap it for cash. A €50 gift card gets you €50 in cash.
3. We only exchange one gift card per person. If we run out of cash, we can’t continue trading.
4. You can also ask your friends or others if they’ll trade gift cards for cash with you. That’s not forbidden.
